# Data & Privacy

This page summarizes the data Samelogic collects to power element intelligence and [step replays](https://samelogic.com/login), plus the privacy controls you can use to manage exposure.

## Data captured

* **Element data**: selectors, attributes, text snippets, and stability scores
* **Context**: page URL, environment, viewport size, timestamps
* **Replays**: step timelines, console logs, and network summaries

## Data minimization

Capture only what you need to diagnose or automate. Encourage teams to:

* Use staging environments for sensitive flows
* Avoid capturing forms that include secrets or PII
* Tag and isolate sensitive projects

## Retention and deletion

## Data export

You can export element data and replay evidence to your issue tracker or automation workflow to keep investigations portable.
